Real Touch Parrot Tulip Bundle, 5 Stems

Yes. Every stem in our collection is chosen for how convincing it looks: the colour, the form and the detail of the real thing. Some of our flowers and trees are real touch, with a soft coating that mimics the feel of a living petal or leaf. Styled in a vase or a corner of a room, they are designed to hold up at a glance and on closer inspection.

Real touch describes the finish rather than the quality and it applies to some of our range rather than all of it. Our orchids, lily sprays, tiger lilies and parrot tulips are real touch, as are our bay, palm and lemon trees. Where a product is real touch, as you will see on the listing.

Our stems are built from fabric blooms, moulded petals and foliage over an internal wire core, with a real touch coating on selected products. It is the shaping, layering and colour work that separates a convincing stem from a flat one, which is why we buy on finish rather than on price.

They need very little. Dust gently every so often with a soft dry cloth, a make-up brush or a hairdryer on its coolest setting. Keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can lift the colour of any fabric over time and do not submerge them in water. Please see our blog on this for more info:

Our collection is designed for indoor styling, with two exceptions. Our UV protected bay laurel trees, at 1.2m and 1.5m are made for outdoor use and are listed as such. Everything else should stay indoors to protect the colour and finish.

They will not wilt, drop petals or shed, so a stem looks the same in month six as it did on day one, and there is nothing to replace each week. Like any fabric, colour can lift in prolonged direct sunlight, so keep them out of harsh sun and give them an occasional dust and they will keep looking their best.

Most of our flowers are sold as single stems, so you can build exactly the fullness you want. The styling in our photography shows how a grouping looks together, so treat it as a guide to the look rather than the quantity in one order. Anything sold complete as a bundle or spray says so in the product title.

Yes. Our stems have an internal wire core, so they can be cut to length with florist's scissors or wire cutters and gently bent into shape. Trim a little at a time until you have the height that you’d like to get the desired result.
